Thinking of joining?
We welcome new members, both those that have already been trained by BSAC, PADI or another agency and those who want to learn how to scuba dive or snorkel. If you are interested in joining us then why not arrange to come and visit us at one of our pool sessions and/or at the pub for a chat after a pool session. Our pool sessions are currently at Barnet Copthall swimming pool at 8.30 pm every Wednesday and we normally make it to the pub by about 10.00 pm.
To arrange to come and see us contact Liz Price, our chairman and membership secretary, on 01707 859011. If you are new to diving and arrange to visit us at one of our pool sessions, we will organise a try dive (in the pool) at a cost of £10. You just need to turn up ready to swim and we'll provide all the diving equipment. If you like us and want to train or dive with us, you will need to join the club. The club has its own instructors and training is included in the price of membership. Pool training takes place in the pool sessions. Theory training is sometimes in one of the classrooms at the pool and sometimes at someone's house. Open water training is generally on the south coast of England. We can provide some equipment to get you started on your pool training and for a modest charge you can hire equipment for open water dives but, realistically, in the long term you'll need to by your own.
